Who is responsible
BotStrikes is a project of Aureus Tech LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (United States), with its registered office at 1521 Concord Pike, Suite 201, Wilmington, DE 19803, USA. Aureus Tech LLC is the controller of the data described here. Contact: contacto@botstrikes.com.
What we keep if you sign up
Your email, what you chose (play, build an AI, sponsor or follow development), the page language, the date you signed up or updated your details and the version of the text you accepted. We do not store your IP address or browser with your email.
What for
Only to notify you of the launch and send BotStrikes news. We do not sell or rent your data. The infrastructure providers involved are described below. The basis is your consent: you give it by checking the box and can withdraw it at any time.
Server logs
The server may record the IP address, date, requested address and browser to operate and defend against abuse. These logs are not linked to the waitlist. The current configuration rotates files daily when they contain entries and retains up to 14 previous files. This does not guarantee deletion of each visit exactly after 14 days: a file without new entries may remain longer.
Who else is involved
The site and waitlist are hosted by DigitalOcean in New York (United States). Connections to botstrikes.com and docs.botstrikes.com reach that server directly. DigitalOcean provides the infrastructure that stores and serves the data. Cloudflare provides DNS, handles www.botstrikes.com to redirect to the main domain, and routes emails sent to contacto@botstrikes.com. These services may process the data needed to perform their functions. If you visit from another country, your data travels to the United States.
In your browser
We use no cookies, analytics or advertising. If you close the language notice, your browser remembers that choice (local storage, key bs-lang-hint); you can delete it from your browser.
How long
We retain your signup until you unsubscribe or we close the waitlist, whichever comes first. When processing an unsubscribe request, we delete the signup from the active database. We are checking whether provider backups exist and how long they are retained; we cannot yet confirm a deletion period for those copies. The earlier statement about daily backups and a few additional days was unverified and is corrected here. You can contact us about this verification at contacto@botstrikes.com.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or unsubscribe, by writing to contacto@botstrikes.com from the email you signed up with. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the data protection authority of your country: in Argentina, the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (AAIP); in Brazil, the ANPD.
Children
The waitlist is not directed at children under 13. If we learn that one signed up, we delete their data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will say so here with the new date. If the change affects how we use your email, we will ask for your consent again.
